As anticipated, due to the insane spike in Covid-19 infection the past few days Governor Gavin Newsom made good on his promise to to step back reopenings earlier today. In today’s press conference, Newsom announced the state would order the shut down of restaurants dine-in services.
This order applies to all counties on the “county monitoring list” for at least three consecutive days. Restaurants will still be allowed to offer food for pick-up or delivery as before.
The order to cease indoor operations also includes movie theaters, indoor family entertainment businesses, card rooms and zoos.
There are 19 counties on the monitoring list. Orange County is one of them. The order will be in pane for at minimum, three weeks.
