Normally, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! In 2020, December is only part of the weirdest year in our lifetime. Like with our favorite bands and other artists, there are some events happening to lift our spirits. Events that will remind us that no matter how bad things get, humans can become the best versions of who we are. This holiday season, joy will be in the air by virtue of the Night of Lights OC event.
Night of Lights is an interactive drive through event. Imagine driving through a mile-long winter wonderland that includes over one million lights from the safety of your car!
This event will include lights animated to music, strobe lighting fx, fog, haze, snow flurries, bubbles (that all fall on to your vehicle) and more but most importantly, SANTA CLAUS!
The event takes place at the Orange County Fair Grounds and Event Center, you can pre-purchase seasonal dinner, dessert and beverages to enjoy during your experience.
There are event theme nights including classic car nights. How fun! There are also discounted ticket nights for teachers, first responders and military. Be sure to check the ticket page for details and discount codes.
Nights of Lights will be open rain or shine and it’s important to note that vehicle ticket reservations are sold in 30-minute time slots from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily during the event dates. There are also vehicle restrictions, so please be sure to check out their website for details.
That’s the plan so far, with the ongoing announcements on COVID restrictions, it’s unclear if these plans will change. The event is scheduled to take place December 10th thru January 10, 2021.
