The legend known as Sir Paul McCartney has announced a short US run of dates for 2022. McCartney has not toured in the US since 2019, so his return is certainly a welcome one.
In his press release, McCartney said, “I said at the end of the last tour that I’d see you next time. I said I was going to get back to you. Well, I got back!”
The aptly titled Got Back Tour will launch in April in Washington and make a stop at SoFi Stadium on May 13.
The tour covers 13 dates and tickets go on sale February 25th.
McCartney released “McCartney III” in 2020, then a companion, “McCartney III Imagined,” in 2021. The “Imagined” album included collaborations with Beck, Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, and several other notable artists.
He also released book set titled “The Lyrics,” a two-volume collection covering the words and recollections of 154 songs.

Fellow Beatle Ringo Starr will also be touring the US this spring and summer, but there is no CA date slated.
