Pearl Jam | The Home Shows

“Night 2” at Safeco Park

February 8, 2021 by Thomas Ochoa

If you like good music, 2021 is shaping up to be our much needed rebound year. There’s no definite date when live shows will be back, but the near future is taking shape, musically speaking of course. For those who like their music loud and in your face, Pearl Jam is part of that good news parade. No dates just yet, but we have great never been seen footage of this iconic band coming our way.
Ask anyone who loves insane and animated live shows and they’ll tell you that the stadium atmosphere is where Pearl Jam shines brightest. The band features Vedder (lead vocals / guitar), Mike McCready (lead guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm & lead guitar), Jeff Ament (bass), and Matt Cameron (drums). Bottom line, their live shows are blood pumping high velocity good fun, with the occasional slow jam (no pun intended).

Best known for their mega-hits of the 90’s, Pearl Jam helped usher in the grunge era. They’ll be forever be linked to the Seattle sound that propelled bands like Mud Honey, Mother Love Bone, Temple of the Dog, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden and Nirvana to the forefront of our consciousness.

With the success of their latest album “Giganton,” Pearl Jam has received great reviews for their live stream shows, which features music off the album.

Starting February 12th through 16th, Pearl Jam is partnering with nugs.net once again to bring fans more never-before seen performances.
This month they will stream their August 10th, 2018 performance from Safeco Field in Seattle. After the overwhelming response from the stream of Night 1 of their 2018 hometown performances, the band continues to deliver more content by streaming Night 2 through nugs.net. This 2-show homestand is widely regarded as a career highlight for the band.
The band partnered with nugs.net to present this 37-song set, mixed in stereo and 5.1 digital surround sound by Pearl Jam Producer, Josh Evans.
