The legends known as the Pixies are returning to our area for three shows as part of a four-date mini tour. The band has been on a touring frenzy since pandemic restrictions lifted, and will be spending their summer in Europe before returning to our shores in October.

As Pixies fans know, every show will feature a different set list and these intimate-venue-concert sets will draw from their extensive catalogue, performed differently each night. In addition to the classics we love, the band will debut new tracks from their upcoming album, “Doggerel.”
Wait, what? Yes, NEW Pixies music! Black Francis, David Lovering, Paz Lenchantin, and Joey Santiago will drop the new album on September 30th. Per the band, “’Doggerel’ is a mature yet visceral record of gruesome folk, ballroom pop and brutal rock haunted by the ghosts of affairs and indulgences, driven wild by cosmic forces and envisioning digital afterlives where no God has provided one.”

Pixies will perform at SOMA in San Diego on October 1st, House of Blues Anaheim October 2nd, and October 3rd at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The fourth date is in New York at Terminal 5 on October 5th.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time and they tend to sell out quickly! After the US dates, the band will head off to South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, so make sure to get your tickets.
