Summer Carnival to Hit USA
November 14, 2022 by Traci Turner
She’s “getting the party started” in Europe, but will carry it over to North America: Pink’s Summer Carnival Tour will kick off in July and feature Brandi Carlile or Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, but all dates will have Grouplove as opener.

GROUPLOVE

The Los Angeles-based rockers are excited to be on this tour. With hits, “Tongue Tied,” “Welcome to Your Life,” “Itchin’ on a Photograph,” “Colours,” and “Way to Go,” concertgoers have another ear candy treat in store for them.
The stadium tour will no doubt feature Pink displaying her incredible acrobatic skills as she sings her hits “So What,” “Stupid Girls,” “Try,” “What About Us,” “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” “Just Like a Pill,” “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” “U + Ur Hand,” “Get the Party Started,” and “Raise Your Glass.”
Pink released a live album, “All I Know So Far: Setlist,” in 2021, but has not announced a new album in relation to this tour. However, she did just release a song entitled “Never Not Gonna Dance Again,” which she will perform on the American Music Awards on November 20th.
Over the weekend, Pink and Brandi Carlile teased fans with tour news on social media. While sitting backstage at the Hall of Fame ceremony, Pink called Carlile:
Pink: “I was really afraid to ask you this question to your face.”
Carlile: “Oh? I’m married.”
Pink: “Yeah. I love your wife. But will you go on tour with me?”
Carlile: “Fuck, yeah!”
Carlile will be featured on 15 of the 21 dates and has been having an incredible year.

OC Music News caught her headline performance at Pilgrimage Festival where her joyful personality made us want to follow her everywhere. She has been at every important event in 2022 it seems, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Also at the HoF ceremony were inductees Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. They will take over support from Carlile in the other six cities, which includes Los Angeles.

The duo is also taking on a new venture; they co-wrote the score for a stage musical, “Invincible,” which will premiere in Beverly Hills on November 22nd.

You can see all of these amazing performers this weekend by watching the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on HBO on November 19th.
Tickets for the Summer Carnival Tour go on sale to the general public November 21st at 10 a.m. local time. There is a presale for Citi cardholders starting at 10 a.m. on November 16th. Verizon also has an exclusive presale through Verizon Up beginning at noon on November 17th.
OC Music News is aiming to catch the show September 22nd in Nashville, October 3rd in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium, and October 5th in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. Hopefully we will see you there!
