ORANGE, CALIFORNIA | OC MUSIC NEWS, an Orange County-based music news magazine today announced that Greg Vitalich, a San Diego-based photo journalist will be joining the national press team.
A Los Angeles native, Vitalich is an accomplished and gifted writer and photographer. Before coming to OCMN, Greg has covered some of the biggest bands on the planet and has worked for a number of publications.
He has been a passionate professional wedding and events photographer for several years in the southern California area. For fun he takes adventurous trips to National Parks and off the beaten path locations seeking amazing nature and wildlife photography opportunities.
When he’s not in the wild, Greg brings his great sense of humor to cover some of the biggest shows in the Southland.
Greg is also an experienced drummer who has played the Hollywood club circuit and spent many crazy years in popular local party rock cover bands. Applying a keen musician’s perspective to his years of photographic training and experience in composition, lighting, posing, and post-editing, Greg’s approach with covering musical events is striving to capture the true magic of live concerts with dramatic images that evoke emotions.
Factoid: Greg worked as a naturalist and photo guide in Alaska where he led tours helping guests capture photographs of humpback whales, orcas, bears, glaciers, and all the spectacular scenery of the “Last Frontier.”
