Additionally, Tony is the Marketing Manager for MBM Music LLC. “The term ‘Music Industry Specialist’ is a formal way of saying ‘Networking Jedi’. With over 30 years of experience in the music business on both sides of the coin, Tony has connected people, bands, and venues to each other, as well as accumulating information, contacts, and sharing them with everyone. This is his forte’.”
Tony is also a social activist who champions “the pen is mightier than the sword.” One of his earliest authored papers was while in Jr. College. He conducted a clinical Sociology study that demonstrated how college in the California prison system reduced the recidivism rate by over 70%. That paper was used as clinical evidence in 1992 in the California state legislature to keep college programs in the California Department of Corrections.
As part of the OC Music News team, Tony brings his years of professional and personal experience in coverage of all aspects of music performance, business, social issues, and networking to the table.
