The countdown is almost over and bands from coast-to-coast and around the world are ready to entertain us at Primavera Sound – Los Angeles!
This year’s edition has a little bit of everything for everyone. The festival has an eclectic group of seasoned acts sprinkled with great new sounds of varying genres that are destined to pique your interest and satisfy your musical palette.
Day One features Lorde. She came to us as a musical teen juggernaut and has stayed in our sights ever since. For the alternative crowd, bands you might want to make sure to catch include Mitski and Darkside. These acts may bring a smile to your face.

Here are the set times for Day One
Day two will be a monster that we will talk abut for some time. What can be said about Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails that you haven’t already heard? Answer is… nothing! This is a band that doesn’t come around regularly, so they are a definite must see. Thank me later for this bit of advice…check out Surf Curse and Fontaines, D.C..
Aside from NIN, my pick for the act to see would be Fontaines D.C., as they are entertaining with a great sonic boom. They will knock your socks off.
If you’re interested in some street and world music, plenty of that is happening Day Two as well.

Day Three closes the festival off with some electrifying acts. Artic Monkeys is the big name, definitely the band to see on Day 3, but, for a jolt of energy and entertainment… check out Aussie sensations Amyl and the Sniffers. Trust me on this one too!
Another cool act to check out is Jeff Blake becuase he has a sound you may also want to gravitate to his stage to check out! It is a fantastic lineup to help get your sonic groove on.
Here are the set times for Day Three
In the end, no matter which day you attend, or maybe you are going to attend all three? Whatever you do, there is guaranteed ear candy waiting for you everywhere you turn.
So get your kicks on, and your favorite dancing pants and head on out to Primavera Sound Los Angeles, because we will talk about this one for a while.
