PRIMUS LIVESTREAM

PRIMUS Doesn’t Suck

Coming to us Alive From Pachyderm Station
December 8, 2020 by David Jackson

In the constellation of our soul lurks a mysterious invisible force, a life force that makes us all smile known as Primus – AND Primus is coming!
There hasn’t been a lot to smile about in 2020, the next few weeks wants to show us there is a light at the end of the tunnel and Primus is about to fill that void for all of us.

There is no doubt this California-based band is outrageous. With their infectious smiles and brash sense of humor, they’ve endeared themselves into our hearts.
They made their mark with hits like “Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver,” “Tommy The Cat,” “My Name is Mud,” “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” and “Jerry Was a Race Car Drive.”

Seriously, if you haven’t seen Primus before, hold on because it’s a pseudo-cartoon-crazy show.  Primus is Les Claypool (bassist / vox), Larry ‘Ler” LaLonde (guitar) and Tim “Herb” Alexander. These cats will bring your deepest, darkest and funniest cartoon memories to life by virtue of their music and sonic journey.
We’ve all be impacted by COVID in one way or another. For Primus,. they had no choice but to postpone their Rush Tribute tour to 2021. To make it up to their fans, they’ve announced their only 2020 appearance. It’s a one-of-a-kind live virtual show titled “Alive From Pachyderm Station.”

The event will have the band deliver a set from from Claypool’s California winery, Claypool Cellars. It’s unclear if they will pay tribute to Rush and their late drummer Neil; Peart. Whatever the band decides to do, it will be a memorable experience.
Alive From Pachyderm Station will be stream on Friday, December 11th (6 p.m. Pacific time). Ticket holders will be able to re-stream the show 72 hours following the performance.
