The Punk Rock Museum

Set to Open in Sin City

March 22, 2023 by Traci Turner
It has been years in the making and it is finally ready to open to the public: The Punk Rock Museum will officially launch on April 1st. No joke!

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Through years of collaboration with the punk collective, Las Vegas’ newest attraction features “12,000 square feet of exhibits encompassing five decades of punk history.”

Guests can even play instruments originally owned by their favorite punk musicians in the Jam Room. Chris Shiflett from Me First & The Gimme Gimmes and Pete Koller from Sick of It All are two of the artists who donated guitars.

Koller is also one of the upcoming artists who will give guided tours of the museum. When asked about giving tours, Koller said, “I am very excited to share my stories about some of the exhibits at the punk rock museum even if I don’t know the true story I will make some shit up for you.”

The celebrity tour guests include an impressive roster of musicians. The month of May alone includes Casey Royer (Social Distortion, The Adolescents), Joe Escalante (The Vandals), Chris DeMakes (Less Than Jake), Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks, Bad Religion), Scott Shiflett (Face to Face), Don Bolles (The Germs), CJ Ramone (The Ramones, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes), Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Efrem Schulz (Voodoo Glow Skulls, Manic Hispanic), and several more!

The museum also houses a bar (The Triple Down), the Vegas Punk Shop (customized punk merch and one-of-a-kind items), and starting mid-April, a signature wedding chapel. This is Vegas, after all!

Also arriving May 1st at the museum, a tattoo parlor! All of your needs in one amazing spot!
The Punk Rock Museum is between The Strip and downtown Las Vegas. Get ready to hit the road!
