Hear ye! Hear ye! Riot Fest has just been announced!
Dear fellow Midwest Punx and Punx around the globe; it’s your friend Jenna Enemy here reporting live from festival season headquarters.
It’s time to lace up those Chuck Taylors, grab a corn dog on a stick, walk amongst thousands of Port-a-Potties, and see AT LEAST 88 bands across five stages in the most epicly-epic Chicago weekend that we know as Riot Fest.
The Riot Fest schedule has just been announced and I for one cannot wait to get to Douglass Park this September. Headliners include: My Chemical Romance, The Misfits, NIN, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers, Placebo, The Descendents, Yellowcard, Bauhaus, Sunny Day Real Estate, Bad Religion, Yungblud, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ice Cube, Sleater-Kinney, Jimmy Eat World, The Academy Is, Action Bronson, and Chicago’s own Alkaline Trio.
Each day features a different line-up and headliner with Friday being My Chemical Romance, Saturday has The Misfits, and Sunday belongs to Nine Inch Nails. MCR was announced last year as the headliner for 2022 when COVID halted the 2020 event. NIN was slated to cover the 2021 show, but they eventually cancelled, so… finally, here we go!
I had an absolute blast last year, so let’s do it again! Riot Fest is September 16-18 in Douglass Park, Chicago. Tickets are available now, so grab yours and I’ll see you there!
Come one, or come all, it will be an event we talk about for years to come!
