Traveling across the “stacked United States of Woe” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of their most iconic albums, California alt-indie band Say Anything is looking to play “…Is a Real Boy” in its entirety for OC fans next week.
June 24, 2024
Popping into Anaheim on their 29-stop tour, Say Anything is no strangers to keeping fans “Alive with the Glory of Love.” With their eccentric brand of sound, they are sure to pack the House of Blues, plus they are bringing along openers AJJ and Greet Death.
I honestly can’t believe it’s been 20 years since hearing “…Is a Real Boy” for the first time, and honestly, their art brought me to my knees.
This album is a big staple in holding up the curtain that is my teenage years.
With Max Bemis on vocals, Fred Mascherino and Brian Warren handling guitars, Alex Kent controlling bass, Parker Case manning keyboards, and Coby Linder pounding drums, fans old and new will get an incredible show. The guys dropped “…Is Committed” a few weeks ago, so maybe they will tack on some new stuff at after the anniversary tunes.
So, how about you and all your friends meet some of my friends at the House of Blues on June 24th for the 20th anniversary of Say Anything’s “…Is a Real Boy?”
