Over my lifetime, I have been crazy for many things, but at the top of my list is Seal. What could possibly be better than listening to the Grammy-award winning artist’s music or watching his videos? Easy answer: Watching him perform them live!
During a recent appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Seal announced his 30th anniversary North American tour will take place this spring. What is the skinny on this tour you ask? Well, the British singer will perform his first two albums, 1991’s “Seal,” and 1994’s “Seal II” in their entirety as he travels across the globe.
Songs we can expect to hear include favorites “Crazy,” “Killer,” “Future Love Paradise,” “I’m Alive,” “Prayer for the Dying,” and of course, “Kiss from a Rose.”
The 25-date tour will also feature the musical direction of the legendary Trevor Horn, and music support from Horn’s band, The Buggles (“Video Killed the Radio Star” aka the very first video played on MTV!). The North American portion of the tour launches April 25th in Phoenix, and will stop in SoCal on June 30th at The Greek.
To get fans ready to go, in fall of 2022, Seal released a reissue of “Seal.” The four CD/two LP deluxe edition includes rarities, a 12”x12” hardcover book with never-before-published photos, a previously unreleased 13-track concert performance, and more, with all music remastered by Trevor Horn.
Tickets are now on sale, so do yourself a favor and get yours because he puts on a fantastic show!
