The third annual Suburban Clampdown at Garden Amp in Garden Grove has just been announced and the punk rock gods are smiling down on us! Headlining this annual show is none other than New York’s own hardcore band, Gorilla Biscuits. Supporting acts include Strung Out, Strife, Ignite, Firestarter, Venomous Pinks, Sweat, Bent Blue, Major Pain, and Godhead.
The last time Gorilla Biscuits graced the stage of Garden Amp, it was in March of 2019. The band had just lost their guitarist Alex Brown the previous month to complications from a stroke. At the show, there were fond memories shared of him by front-man Civ (Anthony Civarelli) onstage, and the band played tributes.
After that loss, and after COVID closed everything down, they are ready to come back to Garden Amp in full swing with their upbeat, positive, straight edge, vegan message, and hardcore punk sound.
If you ever wanted to take the kids to see these iconic punk bands, or you’re just looking for a safe place to watch the show without getting trampled, Garden Amp is the place for you. Not only do they have seating for families and old punkers, but multiple full bars and a kitchen that offers tasty food… and did we mention free parking?!
Each of these iconic punk bands are amazing, so putting them together on one bill is the Christmas gift that will give a lifetime of memories.
The show’s previous years have included Black Flag, Agent Orange, Excel, Bad Cop Bad Cop, and Cigar. This year’s lineup is in true Suburban Clampdown punk rock form and will be a rocking good time.
