Jon Foreman (vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass), Boaz Roberts (guitar), Chad Butler (drums), and Jerome Fontamillas (keyboards) put on an energetic show. Through their hits “Stars,” “Hello Hurricane,” “Where I Belong,” “Meant to Live,” “Dare You to Move,” and new song “If I Were You,” from their 2021 album, “Interrobang,” they were engaged and appreciative the entire set. Plus there was an amazing Beastie Boys cover of “Sabotage.”
“This is Our Christmas Album” is sure to possess that same energy on holiday classics, plus five original Christmas songs, and it marks their first holiday album. They describe it as “Cheery, nostalgic and brimming with sunshine, the 11-track collection was inspired by everyone from the Beach Boys to Black Flag, and promises to be the perfect soundtrack for the holiday season with a new California twist.”

Front-man Jon Foreman also said, “Christmas is an emotional treasure chest for a songwriter to pull from. It’s a season stretched tight with contradictions: celebrating the free gifts of love and grace with an outburst of materialist capitalist consumption. An emotional roller coaster of family and friends, hopes and scars – bringing out the worst and the best in all of us.”
Switchfoot’s This is Our Christmas Tour will kick off on November 26th and find its way to Anaheim on December 17th. Tickets are on sale now.
