Music has always been the great communicator, when we all gather for a common thread: we become infinite for that moment. A very special gathering is approaching and it will benefit The Ed Asner Family Center. This benefit includes an incredible concert at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on September 9th.
Per their website, The Center provides camps, adult day programs, relationship courses, arts, and vocational enrichments for neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals and their families as well as in-person and Telehealth counseling and support groups.
The benefit will feature Stone Temple Pilots, Joe Bonamassa, Toto, Ringo Starr, Colin Hay, and Hoobastank. It will be a star-studded event that will entertain and unite us in supporting this great organization.
Discussing the event, Matthew Asner and Navah Paskowitz-Asner said: “We are absolutely thrilled and profoundly grateful for this outstanding lineup of artists showing their support for The Ed Asner Family Center Charity Benefit Concert.”
They continued: “We would like to express our deepest appreciation for Steve Lukather. His passion, dedication and world-renowned talent have been an inspiration to us all and have helped bring our vision to life. It’s not just about his virtuosity as a guitarist, but also about his incredible heart. His commitment to our cause has moved us beyond words. Together, we are changing lives and making a difference for those who need it most. Thank you, Steve, for standing with us on this journey.”
The event will raise funds for the programs the Ed Asner Center champions. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster starting tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Presale begins today from 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. with the password ASNER.
