THE FIXX

The Fixx is Back

April 6, 2022 by Traci Turner
The Fixx has new music coming this summer and multiple dates to see them live in SoCal.
The band is releasing “Every Five Seconds” on June 3rd and 10 songs will be available for your new music needs. This is their first album in nearly a decade and front-man Cy Curnin said, “Life can either be a series of broken obsessive thoughts or it can be a wonderful mosaic of moments. EVERY FIVE SECONDS reflects this human paradox. The constant struggle between bewilderment and betterment.”
Three singles have already been released, so to get a sample, check out “Wake Up,” “Woman of Flesh and Blood,” and “Closer.”
In a rarity for a band that has been in our world for decades, The Fixx retains their classic 1979 lineup: Cy Curnin (vocals), Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards), Dan K. Brown (bass guitar), and Adam Woods (drums). The English band has given us multiple hits including “Saved by Zero,” “Are We Ourselves?,” “Secret Separation,” “Red Skies,” “Stand or Fall,” “Driven Out,” and a biggie, “One Thing Leads to Another.”
