THE GREEN IS COMING TO PAC AMP

THE GREEN

Coming to Pac Amp with HIRIE
June 20, 2023 by Jason Roberts
There is no better way to enjoy summer in Southern California than a full evening of fantastic reggae! Come out to the Pacific Amphitheatre on July 8th for a stacked reggae lineup featuring The Green, HIRIE, Mike Love, Jesse Royal, and Southern California legends, Common Sense.
The Green will appear as part of their West Coast tour with Cas Haley and ETANA. They are well known for their positive reggae tunes, including those from their last album, like “Feelings” (featuring J Boog & Gyptian), “Recipe” (a remake of reggae legend ASWAD’s song “Your Recipe”), “Coming Home,” and “Blue Skies” (featuring Keznamdi).

HIRIE are performing at a series of music festivals in July, along with dates in San Diego with Stephen Marley ahead of this PacAmp performance. HIRIE singer Trish Jetton is one of the sweetest, kindest reggae artists you will ever meet, and often stays long after the show is over to meet her fans and sign autographs. Their 2022 album, “Mood Swings,” is definitely one of their best to date, bolstered by songs like “Blacklist” (with special guest Matisyahu), “Diamond,” and “Thief in the Night.”

Hawaiian singer Mike Love is finishing up a series of Western US concerts, and then heading to Europe with dates in France, The Netherlands, England, and Germany. Do not miss your chance to catch this dynamic performer before he crosses the pond!
Jamaican reggae artist Jesse Royal has been performing a series of awesome reggae events on the East Coast with artists such as Protégé and SOJA, and will be traveling back to the East Coast for a series of shows with Stephen Marley. Give their latest hit, “HOPE,” a listen!

Southern California reggae legends Common Sense will be kicking off this epic night with a series of reggae tunes, bringing their own original music style influenced by surfing life growing up locally. Lead singer Nick Hernandez lives in Cabo now, but makes sure to fly back out for special events like this.
Common Sense is known for their help supporting many great environmental and autism charities, including an upcoming performance for Kahuna Concert for a Cause in San Clemente in August. If you haven’t seen Common Sense before, you definitely don’t want to miss their performance. Check out their hit songs online including, “Never Give Up” and “In Your Eyes.”
Get your tickets ASAP before this great event sells out! It will be a full evening of entertainment and summer bliss!
