It’s been a minute since we saw Seattle-based indie-folk rockers The Head and the Heart, and they are going to be on the road for many months to make up for it.
The band took to their socials to post: “It’s wild to think that by the time we get back on the road this year, it will have been over 2 and a half years since we last toured. We’re so excited to bring new songs to life on stage every night, traveling alongside artists who inspire us. We can’t wait to get out there, doing what we do with an even greater sense of gratitude.”
Their announcement also included the exciting news that their Every Shade of Blue 2023 tour will have them co-headline with The Revivalist and Father John this summer.
The Head and the Heart released “Every Shade of Blue” last year and it is doing very well among the faithful. “Virginia (Wind in the Night),” “Hurts (But it Goes Away),” “Tiebreaker,” and “Every Shade of Blue,” top the list of new band faves.
Of course we can’t forget the “classics.” Their hits are hits with more than just the indie crowd as their music crosses genre lines. The fan favorites include “Another Story,” “Gone,” “Ghost,” “Lost in My Mind,” “City of Angels,” “Rhythm & Blues,” and “See You in My Eyes.” Personally, I can’t wait to see them perform “Shake” in person at BeachLife Fest on May 7th.
In addition to these summer dates, they are hitting some festivals and doing a full original member reunion at Red Rocks in June. No matter where you live, there’s a good chance you will be able to see them in 2023.
