Live from Sweden, it’s The Hives! They are back and ready to take names.
With a dash of punk, a sprinkle of rock, a pinch of humor, a flair for the dramatic, and a ton of musical prowess, these Swedes are back on the road and ready to hit the States hard. So much for Tussles in Brussels, The Hives will invade SoCal with two epic shows. First on May 9th at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, then at The Glass House in Pomona on May 11th.
If you haven’t seen The Hives before, get ready for a true journey of sight and sound. Formed in the late ‘90’s The Hives are the most dynamic quintet that I believe has ever comes from Fagersta, Sweden. They are their favorite sons.
With an unapparelled energy, the Hives come with mega-hits, “Hate To Say I Told You So,” “Tick Tick Boom,” “Go Right Ahead,” and their collaboration with Timbaland, “Throw It On Me.”
The stylish rockers still bring the boom with lead singer Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist behind the mic, Nicholaus Arson on lead guitar, Vigilante Carlsroem on rhythm guitar, The Johan and Only on bass, and behind the drum kit is Chris Dangerous. On stage they personify class and elegance in a Swedish pimpy kind of way.
They are by far one of the most entertaining bands you will ever see. After all, they come from the land of ABBA, so they have that in their in their genes.
Get your dancing shoes on and check out The Hives! They are a party waiting to happen.
