There are incredible bands that have emerged over the past decade, and Fourth Wave Ska juggernauts The Interrupters is one we have been following since day one. Now they are hitting the road with Frank Turner for a kick-ass tour that lands them back home in SoCal.
Joining this dynamic duo will be some unreal talent: Hepcat, for one, is a band you just have to see. You will also be entertained by Laura Jane Grace, Chuck Regan, Bedouin Soundclash, The Skints, The Bandulus, and Left Alone. Who you catch on any given show varies by date; kind of like an old tour lineup.

About the tour, Turner said, “After doing 50 states in 50 days last summer, I was wondering how you follow that, in terms of touring the USA… And now I know – team up with one of the best punk bands out there. I’m really excited to share a stage with The Interrupters, it feels like a meeting of minds and music. I can’t wait to hit the road.”

The Interrupters are also pumped and said, “With the recent release of our fourth album ‘In The Wild,’ we are so excited to get back out on the road and celebrate live music across the U.S. and Canada with the incredibly talented Frank Turner and so many of our amazing friends.” They went on to say, “We can’t wait to see you all! This is gonna be a party!!”

For the locals, The Interrupters have been a quintessential band that has fit into the pantheon of the local ska community. They have electric energy, killer guitar riffs, and a fantastic lead singer in Aimee Interrupter, who is becoming royalty on the scene. They just kicked ass at KROQ’s Acoustic Christmas and have been announced as one of the biggies for Punk Rock Bowling 2023.
SoCal residents have been there for every step of their meteoric rise, taking in hit after hit like “A Friend Like Me,” “Take Back the Power,” “Gave You Everything,” “She’s Kerosene,” and now they are doing very well with “In the Mirror” and “Raised by Wolves.”
No matter which show you go to, you will definitely get your money’s worth. Each band on this tour brings a certain swagger that hasn’t been seen on one bill since that rock show known as the Warped Tour. Get your Docs ready for some heavy duty skankin’ and get out to see this one!
