The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas wants you to get “smashed” with The Offspring April 12th-14th! OC’s very own punk legends will take over Vegas’ newest punk hotspot to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their hugely successful album, “Smash.”
Hailing from the heart of Orange County in Garden Grove, The Offspring have been around for almost 40 years now and have sold more than 40 million records around the globe.
Plus, the guys are pretty much loved by all because they are some of the coolest guys on the planet.
If you know the band’s lineup and their connections with many other bands in music, it won’t surprise you that lead guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman, guitarist and vocalist Dexter Holland, bassist Todd Morse, drummer Brandon Pertzborn, and instrumentalist Jonah Nimoy, know how to rock out.
This Punk Rock Museum take-over will have Noodles as an official tour guide, as well as a variety of different events throughout the weekend with the band, including an acoustic performance of a few “Smash” song favorites.
Friday, catch Nimoy as guest DJ at Triple Down bar while Saturday, Morse will be spinning his DJ tracks. You can also grab a cocktail made with Holland’s Gringo Bandito Hot Sauce, and a snack at the Somethin’ To Taco ‘Bout Truck on Saturday.
Although the private tours are now sold out, The Punk Rock Museum has so much to offer. You can still purchase an entrance ticket and see a treasure trove of punk history dating from the ‘70s to today.
You want to see historical punk memorabilia, like musical equipment, hand-written lyrics, clothing, old show flyers, photos, and artwork? Want to put a sticker up on the bathroom wall? Want to get a tattoo? Want to get married? They’ve got you! The Punk Rock Museum has it all in their 12,000 square foot facility!
Sounds like a fun-filled punk rock weekend at the happiest place on Earth – Las Vegas!
