It’s official! the band is back together! Blink-182 is back in its complete form with Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge. Some have called it a “reuniting” while some like to think of it as DeLonge has come home.
The band that became synonymous with The Warped Tour became instant legends when “Enema of the State” blew up.
They have never been far from our thoughts, needless to say we’ve missed them!
It has been 10 years since this line up of bLink-182 last played together have seen some changes in the trio; DeLonge has been fighting the good fight; proving aliens exist
In true Hoppus form, he kicked cancer’s ass, and Barker married a Kardashian.
Filling the void that once was DeLonge’s place was Alkaline Trio’s front-man Matt Skiba. Skiba, Barker and Hoppus put out a few albums; 2016’s “California,” and 2019’s “Nine,” with some “experimental Blink” sounds that somewhat strayed from their original sound.
Some fans liked it while others said it wasn’t the OG sound but one thing remained the same; bLink never strayed from their core sound with danceable, pop punk that talked about love, heartbreak and life. Now, it’s like a first date all over again.

bLink-182 knows their fans have been waiting patiently for many years to see them come back together. For the last few days, the band has been teasing something big was about to happen.
Not only has DeLonge said in the past few months that he is returning, but bLink’s official website had been “under construction” and all Instagram posts had been wiped.
Today their site is up (albeit hard to get on to as of Tuesday morning because the rest of the world is trying to check this out as well) and their Instagram has a single video talking about their “coming” back.
It’s quite hilarious and suggestive in true bLink-182 form that really must be seen to believe.
This single IG post helps promote their newest single, “Edging” that comes out this Friday, October 14 and you can hear a snippet of in the video. Although short, the song is a throwback and gets you excited to hear more!
Now the boys are back, ready to rock the planet with a colossal world-wide tour. Supporting bands will be Turnstile, Rise Against, The Story So Far, and Wallows. You can catch them on the SoCal leg of the tour.
Keep an eye on Turnstile, they may melt your soul with their electrified pounding sound.
