Get ready SoCal! The event aimed at satisfying everyone’s musical palette is back! Make way for the return of San Diego’s Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival 2024!
This three-day musical odyssey returns to San Diego Friday May 10th through the 12th and it features names from a few different genres guaranteed to soothe your sonic soul. Event ambassadors and co-founding partners for the fest are two San Diego sports icons: skateboarder Tony Hawk and surfer Rob Machado.
Day one will take you on a sonic journey that blasts off with Bakar, Dayglow, Jid, and Kayrtranada. Get your dancing shoes ready for this one!
Day two features some headliners you don’t want to miss. Check out Milky Chance, Dominc Fike, and Weezer! The entire lineup is stellar, but Weezer really is the draw. Their catalog has been featured everywhere and for every reason imaginable with hits “Pork and Beans,” “Dope Nose,” “Island in the Sun,” “Undone, the Sweater Song,” “Buddy Holly,” “Hash Pipe,” “Say It Ain’t So,” “My Name is Jonas,” “Beverly Hills,” “Perfect Situation,” “Take on Me,” and “Troublemaker.”
This day will be a barn burner! Also very noteworthy, on day two the bad-ass rapper known as Action Bronson will present a special, rare performance with his full band, Dr. Bachlava & the Human Growth Hormone.
Day three has another stellar lineup with headliners Beck, Mt. Joy, Steel Pulse, and The Rotts. Despite the epic names we can see on day three, Beck brings the noise with “Loser,” “Devil’s Haircut,” “Up All Night,” “Nausea,” “Where It’s At,” “The New Pollution,” and “Girl.”
Seriously, the list of great songs that have positively impacted our lives can go on and on.
