NASHVILLE ON THE COAST

If you’re feeling a little bit country this weekend, you can enjoy the Nashville sound without hopping on a plane. Songwriters Michael Jay Hughes, Kaleb Garrett, and Scott Fleetwood will be performing their hit songs live at the brand new Beach House in Seal Beach this Sunday.

Michael Jay Hughes grew up on a farm in a small town called Goshen, Alabama. He has been playing guitar since he was 13 and finds inspiration in the life of authentic and original country music.

Last spring, he released his first single, “Dirt Road Whiskey,” which was recorded in Nashville and produced by legendary producer, Larry Rogers. Check out his new songs, “Playing with Fire,” “Keith Whitley Songs,” and “Ride On.”

Kaleb Garrett, a singer/songwriter from a small town in Georgia, sees music as a constant companion that continuously evolves through the many eras of life.

He discovered his love for music at the age of 14 from his bluegrass loving grandfather, and began teaching himself guitar. Garrett has performed with several legendary country bands, including Travis Tritt, Diamond Rio, and Three Dog Night.

Singer/songwriter Scott Fleetwood is from California, and with his country rock and California country beach vibes, has earned himself the moniker “Beach Cowboy.”

Fleetwood is also an actor who has appeared in the films “Where We Begin,” “Why Women Kill,” and “Betrayed.”

Finding new places to catch great new acts can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be. This series will help you navigate those murky waters of music and entertainment.
That said, catch all three of the gentlemen this Sunday at The Beach House, starting at 3 p.m. It’s a guaranteed good time and it’s free, so get there early.
