Forty years is a long to be doing anything. To be playing as a band, that’s a remarkable accomplishment. Over their tenure as one of the premier ska bands on the planet, we have enjoyed hits by them such as “2-Tone Army,” “East Side Beat,” Weekend in LA,” “Talk is Cheap,” “Don’t Let the Bastards Grind You Down,” “Recrimination,” and “Run Rudy Run” just to name a few of their epic music catalog that we have all enjoyed over the years.
It’s hard to believe The Toasters are celebrating four decades of ska! Well, they are on a tour to celebrate Forty years of ska madness with a party and we’re all invited!
Needless to say, I am stoked to see them this Friday in Vegas at Backstage Bar and Billiards. They are bringing along Authority Zero, One Way To Paradise, Gnashing, and Muertos Heist to play this insane event.
AND yours truly will be DJing this amazing show. It’s going to be one hell of a party for sure!
On Saturday (December 4th), the party continues at the awesome Garden Amp in Garden Grove.
This will be an all ages show in the Locker Room and damn, another stacked line up: The Toasters, Half Past Two, The Readjusters, Epic XVIII, Saucy Creg, and The Creepers. Yes, ALL AGES and tickets are just $18! Damn that’s bad ass!
With this only being day four of the December leg, wow this tour is going to be huge!
With these two shows alone, you would definitely have your ass in shape from all the dancing. But, hey, there’s more!
You can even catch them on Thursday night at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach with Half Past Two and Warehouse One!
Try to make it out to one of these shows and I’m sure you’ll see me or the other OC Music News crew rolling deep. If you can’t, don’t worry because they are touring the US through April 2022!
Make sure to bring your dancing shoes and I’ll see you in the Skank Pit for ska royalty!
