Orange County’s own Zebrahead will be rocking out at the Garden Amp in Garden Grove on September 10th! After their whirlwind tour through Europe and their many rock festival performances, we will finally be able to see our blessed band play in our own back yard.
Zebrahead has only played twice locally in the last few years, so this show is a big deal. Their fanbase knows no bounds, and Zebrahead is loved everywhere the road takes them; but no one can love them like a hometown fan. While two of the members were in popular local punk bands here in the OC in the ‘90s, other members are currently in popular bands, so putting them all in this supergroup of talent creates a vortex in the space-time continuum.
Their shows are electric and some of the most fun you will have at a concert. Co-front-man Ali Tabatabaee knows how to hold the crowd in the palm of his hand and finds people to crowd surf on giant pool floaties that look like food (including pizza and watermelon).
During the show, he gets all the patrons on the floor to squat or sit and then all jump up at the same time and it looks spectacular. Lead guitarist Dan Palmer will get pushed around while laying down on a rolling case and shredding a guitar solo. And there is so much more; these guys are masters of their craft and won’t be stopping any time soon.
Bassist and founding member Ben Osmundson says, “We are really excited to play in our hometown!” And we are really excited to have them play in our hometown! They released the EP “III” in November and those five songs prove they have a lot more in the tank and are ready to share it with the world.
Since Zebrahead is headlining this show, they have more time to play the songs they want and fingers crossed, any new music they’ve been working hard on. No word yet as to who the supporting acts will be but I’m sure in true Zebrahead fashion, they will surprise us with something amazing.

This is a show you will not want to miss. Not only does Zebrahead put on a great show, but the Garden Amp is a spectacular venue with free parking and a great all-ages place to bring the kids in a safe, “trample free” environment. Because of its stadium seating, the family can sit and see the band from any seat in the house.
Tickets are on sale now but this show will sell out so don’t wait.
