ZIGGY MARLEY SHOW REVIEW

Ziggy Marley Hosts First Kids Drive In Concert
October 26, 2020 by Jenni Lynne

When COVID 19 has put a halt to nearly everything, it did not stop Grammy award-winning Reggae artist Ziggy Marley.
In celebration of his first children’s album, Marley played a Drive-In Concert at The City National Grove of Anaheim on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
Carrying on his father’s tradition, by including his children in the music, he brought his family on the road for his first-ever children’s show.

A FAMILY AFFAIR

Sharing moments with his boys, singing, and dancing, admittedly making me a bit teary-eyed, thinking how proud Bob would be.
Families packed in for a lovely, socially distanced afternoon of music and fun! Ziggy and his fantastic band entertained the young and old with fan favorites like Family Time and Three Little Birds. He really made it all about the kids with songs like Wings of an Eagle and Ziggy Says, a Simon-says like song.
He brought his three boys on stage to sing along and lead the crowd, sharing the movements as they spread their arms all flying together.

Ziggy shared with the crowd how he came to write the song “Goo Goo Ga Ga” for his youngest son Isiah and brought him on stage to sing along with him.
It was beautiful seeing families engaged and bonding over the joyful music, even hearing one woman say, “This is the best day of my life.”
