New Music and Tour

They are one of the bands we love from the ‘90s, and The Smashing Pumpkins are ready to make some noise this summer with a new album and a North American tour.

Best known for hits like “Tarantula,” “Rhinoceros,” Today,” “1979,” “Tonight, Tonight,” “Disarm,” “Mayonnaise,” “Drown,” and “Cherub Rock.” The legend that is Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins are no strangers to the limelight. Therefore, no matter where you see them, you are guaranteed to take a trip down memory lane and then get hit with new music.

This summer, the Chicago monsters of rock will jump on the road for their own tour, plus provide support for Green Day’s Saviors Tour. As if that was not insane enough, that tour also includes Tim Armstrong and Rancid, plus the local phenoms, The Linda Lindas.

The core of the band remains intact with Corgan fronting the vocals and playing guitar, James Iha on bass, and Jimmy Chamberlain on drums. Their sound is always fresh and will knock you out. For the tour, Kiki Wong will also be on stage on guitar.

On the heels of this tour info drop, we get more Pumpkins news. They have a new album ready to drop. They will release their new album, “Ahori Mhori Mei” on August 2nd.

This will be the first Pumpkins release since longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder left the band.

The Pumpkins will blast off on their North American World is a Vampire Tour on July 29th in Washington DC.

The tour will also include a few festival stops and as mentioned, take part in Green Day’s Saviors Tour.

You can catch the Pumpkins September 14th as the Saviors tour lands at SoFi Stadium.
