Announce 2025 North American Tour
September 17. 2024 by Kevin Gomez
Sacramento’s finest, Deftones have had a pretty stellar 2024. One of the highlights on everyone’s radar for Coachella, a scene not normally known for hard rock, Deftones brought out a huge fan base singing along to every word.
They followed this up with a 60-minute set at this year’s Lollapalooza in August, playing a primo spot on the main stage right before the headlining Killers set.
They closed out the summer by playing a once in a lifetime show with System of a Down at the historic Golden Gate Park along with The Mars Volta.
Maybe it was this scenic location, maybe it was because this was a homecoming show of sorts just miles from Sacro, but they looked and sounded majestic.
The boys will close out the year as they usually do with the fifth annual Dia De Los Deftones festival at Petco Park in San Diego on November 2nd.
For this tour they will be joined by Idles, a recently reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, and a slew of other acts.

Fans had not been expecting any announcements for the rest of the year but today the band took to social media and announced a 2025 North American tour.
The two-month tour will kick off in Portland February 25th and close in Boston on April 8th. This includes a stop at the legendary Kia Forum in Inglewood on March 6th.
Once again, they will be joined by friends The Mars Volta and a relatively new grunge band, Fleshwater.
Fans can sign up for early access on the band’s website for a presale that begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. Otherwise, general on-sale goes live this Friday at 10 a.m. (local time).
