Warped Tour 2025

What a summer it was for concerts and bIgger than life festivals. Two of the biggest bands on the planet who toured this year both have one thing in common, blink and Green Day both spent summers on the Warped Tour.
So why do we make this comparison? Well, because the rumor is that we may spend another day in the sun at the Warped Tour in 2025. Well, kinda sorta, absolutely maybe!
From its humble beginnings in 1995 through its sunset in 2019, The Warped Tour has been part of the fabric of all our favorite band moments. If they played the Warped Tour, they are legit. Sadly, we said goodbye to the traveling sonic circus before the pandemic, but now there is new hope in the air. And no, that’s not a Star Wars reference.
The only thing that seems to be in question – it’s just not clear if it’s going to be a Vans, Live Nation or Journey’s event. Regardless, it doesn’t take away from the fact that it is still THE WARPED TOUR.
Here’s a 25th Anniversary History Lesson
It’s been a minute since we spoke last with organizer, architect and uber-legend, Kevin Lyman, but it looks to be that this rumor is gaining major traction.
It is very likely Warped Tour may be back in 2025 celebrating its 30 year anniversary.
Some of my fondest memories were seeing Reel Big Fish, Asking Alexandria, A Day To Remember, Pierce the Veil, Big D and The Kids Table, Bad Religion, Aquabats, Pennywise, Eminem, Ice-T, Dirty Heads, Jimmy Eat World, L7, Sum 41 and yes, I saw Green Day and blink too!
Warped Tour was the virtual launching pad for bands to take off into the next evolution of their careers.
Can you imagine a tour featuring both blink and Green Day – that would be insane! There’s no word that we’ll see these bands again; after all, Warped Tour was about seeing new bands mixed with a few icons, like the Damned, Incubus and Misfits.
What a career Lyman has helped along for so may bands that jumped on this tour. And the memories created are infinite.
So why the hype? How is this not just another rumor? That’s because in a recent interview with Billboard, Lyman said, “We have something cooking for 2025, details should be ready in a few weeks.” The internet’s head exploded with that statement.
Needless to say, we’re crossing our fingers and hoping to catch up with Mr. Lyman soon or hear news on the tour. The powers that be are working on it.
So that was the original story, NOW this billboard popped up in Downtown Las Vegas overnight!
