2025 Lineup
October 29,2024 by Kevin Gomez
When We Were Young (WWWY) just completed another astoundingly successful weekend, this past week. Headlined by My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, this year’s theme was a celebration of the iconic albums we grew up on (hence the name) with bands playing mostly full album sets. People had not even fully come down from the excitement of this past weekend’s festival before promoters dropped the mega lineup for next year’s festival.
Brandon Urie announced early in 2023 that Panic at the Disco would be disbanding following the conclusion of their current tour. Fans were heartbroken at the news from the wildly successful Las Vegas act. The band seemed to fit so well with WWWY’s theme and right in their back yard.

Rumors had begun swirling recently and fans were proven correct as Panic at the Disco was just revealed this morning as one of the headliners for the 2025 When We Were Young.
Co-headliners for WWWY will be none other than blink-182, who just played the 2023 festival. blink-182 are coming off arguably the biggest tour of their careers (having just played the biggest California show in the band’s history earlier this year).
Unlike this year, there will not be any full set albums played, however, Panic will be playing “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” in its entirety and more; blink will be playing songs from “Enema of the State,” “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket,” the self-titled, and more.
Just a blink and Panic reunion tour would sell out just about any arena in this country. However, in true WWWY style they are bringing along some of the biggest acts in punk, hardcore, and emo.
Weezer, who just finished their 30th anniversary of “The Blue Album” tour, and The Offspring, similarly touring for the 30th anniversary of “Smash” will also be joining the stacked lineup.
Other standouts from this all-star festival will be Avril Lavigne, The Used, Yellowcard, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday (who have played every WWWY except 2023) and Jack’s Mannequin, all likely playing the main stages.
The most surprising band I saw was punk rock legends, Bad Religion, along with The Gaslight Anthem, who will be representing some of the more classic eras of fans attending.
Hardcore and metal will also be represented as Knocked Loose and Beartooth will be playing. There will also be bands representing the newer generation of music from the last decade such as Destroy Boys, Her Leather Jacket and Holding Absence.

The show will take place Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
No additional nights have been announced yet, but usually a second day (presumably Sunday, October 19th) is usually announced once the first night has sold out.
Presale starts this Friday, November 01 and 10:00 am local time.
