9th Annual Gala
January 13, 2025 by Alex Distefano
Headbangers, rockers, and heavy metal fans in Orange County have a reason to be excited – the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame will hold its annual awards event in Anaheim on January 22nd.
Every January Orange County is home to the huge NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) convention, which draws in thousands of musicians, industry insiders, music equipment merchants, and fans to celebrate hard rock and heavy metal music, through a focus on instruments and gear. NAMM is the place to be for all music gear aficionados and fans of hard rock and heavy metal.

This will be the 9th Annual Gala Induction Ceremony, and the heavy metal-themed bash will honor the 2025 inductees, which include: the late Dimebag Darrell from Pantera; former Megadeth, current Kings of Thrash guitarist, Jeff Young; Arch Enemy front-woman Alissa White-Gluz; death metal superstar band, Cannibal Corpse; vocalist and songwriter, formerly of Fear Factory, Burton C. Bell; Poison drummer Rikki Rockett; New York City’s hardcore rockers, Life of Agony; ‘80s glam metal band Dangerous Toys; and punk rock guitar shredder, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein from the legendary punk band, Misfits.

In addition to the awards, there will be performances from Jeff Young and Kill Devil Hill, plus a special jam session to close things out. Grab your tickets to see it for yourself when Metal Hall of Fame invades the Grand Theater in Anaheim.
As a result of this week’s events, the Gala will be transformed to a fundraising telethon to help raise money for displaced families of the recent Los Angeles County wildfires. Tickets for this kick-ass event are available, go out and get them!
