Morrissey & Social Distortion
Team Up to Play Intuit Dome
June 4th, 2025 by Jimmy Alvarez
SoCal has been waiting to hear about the return of Social Distortion; while Morrissey has long been a favorite in Southern California.
This week we got the news that the two will join forces for one epic night of music at Inglewood’s crowned jewel, Intuit Dome on October 25th.

Opening for the Pope of Mope is Fullerton’s number one son, Mike Ness. Truthfully, Ness is on a return from a bout with cancer that has been nothing short of inspiring.

Bringing his punk rock prowess to this personal battle, Ness has recovered and sounds better than ever. Catching him over the past year, he looks as good as we have seen him on stage with an anergy and lust for life that is infectious.
Best known for mega hits, “Story of My Life,” “Prison Bound,” “Ball and Chain,” “Bad Luck,” “Mommy’s Little Monster,” “Sick Boys,” and the June Carter classic made popular by her husband, the man in black: Johnny Cash – we’re sure to hear “Ring of Fire” among other great Social D hits.
Ness never misses the bell and brings a renewed energy that only the legends possess.

As for Morrissey, he is back on the road on his Nude Tour. Due to unforeseen health related issues, we missed Morrissey not long ago in San Diego, but he has re-scheduled that show to January 6th and added one more for the City of Angels.

Morrissey brings the sights and sounds of The Smiths and his own personal catalog that is sure to deliver a night of electric and haunting discography.
With songs like “How Soon is Now,” “Everyday is Like Sunday,” “Hand in Glove,” and “Shoplifters of the World Unite” we will be in store for a little panic for sure.
This one is guaranteed to be a barn burner, get ready to mosh and celebrate years of tears with Morrissey and Social Distortion.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 6th at 10 a.m. local time.
