Present Trick or Treat to the Beat
July 25th, 2025 by Kevin Gomez
Yes, true, it may still be sunny and summer, but for all your fall-loving humanoids, the countdown has already begun for Halloween. As soon as Michaels and TJ Maxx start displaying Halloween décor, all bets are off. As such, everyone’s favorite ska superheroes, The Aquabats have announced a short tour they are simply calling Trick or Treat to the Beat.
The Aquabats are currently on The Bats! Kats & Rats tour throughout the United States. They are bringing their brand of ska-pop to the masses along with Koffin Kats and Mike V & The Rats. The tour pulls through Southern California this week where The Aquabats will be playing a stop on the Long Beach date of the 30th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour.

Trick or Treat to the Beat will be two dates at the end of October – October 24th at the Event Lawn at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and October 25th at the House of Blues in Anaheim. The band is describing the shows as a “Halloween costume party freak out!” Cadets would expect no less from The Aquabats.

The band will have a spectacular lineup for both nights. This will feature the return of longtime friends Home Grown. Since reuniting for an opening slot for The Starting Line last October, Home Grown has been embraced with a warm welcome from fans who have waited two decades to see them play again.

With headlining gigs at the Glass House and the Observatory in Santa Ana since then, along with spots on the East Coast this September, the band has been hard at work. The band announced earlier this year they were even working on a new record.
Joining the lineup will be Wilmington, California’s Left Alone. The ska-punk rockers will be bringing the awesome vibes to both shows. Left Alone is so good at getting a crowd to dance and skank, so they will be the perfect band to set the mood and light the night afire. Kicking off the shows will be The Aquabats’ current tourmates, Mike V & the Rats. Fronted by legendary skateboarder Mike Vallely, the hardcore band will be playing fast and loud and get the crowd pumped up.
In addition to these shows, The Aquabats announced another pair of shows for November – November 14th at the famous Catalyst in Santa Cruz, and November 15th at the Majestic Ventura Theater. These shows will feature the same lineup sans Mike V & the Rats.
All tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. PST.
