Celebrate Halloween with

October 20th, 2025 by Kevin Gomez
When you think of Halloween you might think of clowns, bright theatrics, and even music, so it’s no surprise that the Droog Army will be gathering to watch the legends known as The Adicts do a pair of spooky shows this year. \
The Brits will be performing at The Fox Theater in Pomona on October 31st and The Fonda Theatre on November 1st, the first day of Día de Muertos.

The band has been playing less the past few years and rumors have been swirling that The Adicts will soon be retiring. If any band has earned it, they certainly have as they’ve been going strong for nearly five decades since the late ‘70s.
If this, or even next year is truly their last of touring, you certainly don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to catch them live one last time. Add that to the fact that you never want to miss seeing The Adicts play a show around Halloween, but there may be an even more sense of urgency to catch them this year.

The band just did a lights-out performance as the second to last band to close out the Punk in the Park weekend two weeks ago.
You may think a lot of bands might phone it in at a large festival, but quite the opposite as The Adicts brought it for 45 minutes nonstop.
Playing nearly 15 songs that spanned their discography, the band drew a huge crowd and left everything they had on stage with their signature giant white balls bouncing through the crowd.
As if all that wasn’t enough to draw you in, both nights will be supported by The Briefs, CH3, Spaghetiti Cumbia. I saw the Briefs at a Punk Rock Bowling pool in May and they were one of the highlights of the whole weekend. Mike Magrann, Kimm Gardener, and the rest of CH3 are one of the few legendary OC punk bands still bringing it just as hard as their early days.
Spaghetiti Cumbia will be the youngest act of the night, but certainly not one to sleep on. Bringing elements of punk rock, cumbia, and outlaw music, they will be a fun way to kick off each night.
Tickets are currently on sale, so do not sleep on this one.
