Announce SoCal Dates
November 3rd, 2025 by Kevin Gomez
Jason Devore is never one to take things easy and relax. If you’ve ever seen the Authority Zero frontman live, you know he’s a ball of energy constantly moving about, jumping, singing, and never staying in one place.
Well, he’s often like that in other aspects, whether it’s creating solo music, artwork, or writing, he strikes me as the kind of guy who gets antsy resting in one place for too long. With that in mind. it’s no surprise Authority Zero is keeping busy to close out the year.

Next month they begin a co-headlining tour with longtime friends Voodoo Glow Skulls, plus the band announced they would play a pair of shows in Southern California this December.

December 4th, 2025

Authority Zero will be playing with Chaser and Hoist the Colors at the Holding Company in San Diego on December 3rd and with just Chaser alone at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach on December 4th.
I last caught Authority when they played a set on the second day of Punk in the Park. They brought out a large gathering of their loyal fanbase who arrived early to sing along and mosh to every word. In addition to great music and vibes, Devore spoke about living in a world where everyone was (ollie ollie oxen) free and lived in unity.
Guitarist Brandon Landelius is always a blast live providing sick guitar techniques and solos. Longtime bassist Mike Spero is more than just the rhythm section of the band, providing killer backing vocals throughout their set. And Chris Dalley (formerly of Voodoo Glow Skulls and Ten Foot Pole) is a must-watch performer able to play the slower melodic beats just as easily as the breakneck fast punk of Authority Zero.
Orange County’s Chaser are no strangers to Authority Zero. The two have played countless shows together, most recently at Punk in the Park. Chaser carry the torch of skate punk that bands like Pennywise and Strung Out before them helped establish.
Singer Mike LeDonne once told me with pride that of all the punk rock shows they’ve ever played they’ve never had a single fight at one of their concerts.
That’s because fans have become almost like family with each other and with the band, supporting for several decades now and we all see each other at these shows. Chaser just played a Dia de los Muertos show with the return of Fenix Tx and Go Betty Go at the Glasshouse.
Tickets for the Holding Company and Alex’s Bar are both on sale now.
