ALMOST ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS

There are shows that are larger-than-life, and then there are the shows that define how kick-ass shows are measured. KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas is that measuring stick show we just can’t get enough of.
I was fortunate enough to attend the first Christmas show in 1989 at Universal Amphitheater. Since then, the event has just blown up. Just like New Year’s Eve at Times Square, everybody looks forward to this show that has become a tradition in Southern California.
That said, the 2025 lineup was announced on today’s Klein.Ally. Show, and as in years past, the lineup measures up and is guaranteed to electrify!
Representing KROQ’s past, present and future, the lineup includes Evanescence, Rise Against, All American Rejects, Papa Roach, Third Eye Blind, Wet Leg, Social Distortion, The Paradox, and Yellowcard.
No matter who you are, events like this are monumental and attendance is a guaranteed good time, and long-lasting memories will be made.
The show will take place December 13th at Kia Forum. Tickets go on sale Friday at Noon and proceeds benefit Para los Ninos and Wooten Center.
Klein got it right when he said this show is “a holiday tradition unlike any other.”
Get ready for this one; it is going to be an epic night of music and mayhem, KROQ style.
