The Fifth Annual Dia de Los

Deftones, the prolific hard rock band from Sacramento, have announced the lineup for their fifth annual Dia De Los Deftones taking place November 2nd, and it is impressive!

The band’s sound has evolved over the years, and each member’s musical tastes spans various genres. Hence this year’s lineup with Idles, Sunny Day Real Estate, Health, Paris Texas, Duster, Gel and Qendresa.

So, it’s no surprise that each year’s lineup includes an eclectic mixture of bands ranging from hard rock, alternative, hardcore, hip-hop, and just about everything in between.

Past years have included Doja Cat, Turnstile, Chvrches, Gojira, Megan Thee Stallion, 100 Gecs, and Knocked Loose, just to give you a taste of how diverse each year is. This year is no different.

In addition to an incredible lineup each year, headlined of course by Deftones themselves, the band spares no expense when it comes to immersing guests in a full dia de la muerte theme.

Each year the event is housed at beautiful Petco Park in Downtown San Diego. It is always a spectacle inside the venue and outside.

With this lineup, it is already destined to be one of the biggest events of the year.

Unlike previous years, however, where the event was located at Gallagher Square, the park within Petco’s gates, last year was the first year where the event was held inside the actual stadium itself.

Decorations will be the theme, the creepier the better, including flower petals, sugar skull skeletons, and endless photo opportunities throughout the venue.
