Friendsgiving With
Dirty Heads & Friends
At KIA FORUM
September 15, 2024 by Traci Turner
Let’s face it – after the debate last night and the election in November, the holidays with family are looking to be INTENSE. Thankfully we have a night that will be free from fights over felons and tears over taxes.
Thanks to ALT 98.7, we can experience Friendsgiving with Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome: Farewell, The Interrupters, and Beach Weather at the Kia Forum on November 22nd.

After catching Dirty Heads and ROME last month, I am still riding the positive vibes. The gents put on a phenomenal show and it will be even more electrifying as they have The Interrupters and Beach Weather along for the ride!

Jared “Dirty J” Watson and Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell are always a blast and their band is insanely talented. We can enjoy “Lay Me Down,” “Midnight Control,” “Oxygen,” “Vacation,” “Celebrate,” “My Sweet Summer,” “Sound of Change,” “Rescue Me,” and “Medusa” while we dream about turkey and pumpkin pie.
Sublime with Rome is doing the farewell jaunt and before they hang it up for good, we need to see “Smoke Two Joints,” “Doin’ Time,” “Wrong Way,” “What I Got,” and “Santeria” again. Rome Ramirez has such a fantastic voice and positive attitude, you cannot have a bad time!

Dirty Heads and Ramirez are sure to do some crossovers onstage, which already makes for an entertaining show, but also on tap that night – forth wave ska-punk lightningrods, The Interrupters!

The band just got back from Europe and last year opened for Green Frickin’ Day! If you have seen The Interrupters live, you know they put everything they’ve got into their performance, so you should catch them when you can.
Tickets for this stacked night go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. Let’s celebrate the holiday season kickoff together, and I promise – no political talk!
