SHE ROCKS 2025
Women Who Rock
November 8, 2024 by Traci Turner
Every year, esteemed women of the music industry are celebrated by the Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) at an exciting event known as the She Rocks Awards.
For 2025, the organization will hold its 13th annual edition some killer honorees – Paula Cole, Amanda Palmer, Katie Daryl, AIJIA, and Christine Schyvinck.

Paula Cole is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, perhaps best known her hit songs “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “I Don’t Want to Wait” (the mega-huge theme song from “Dawson’s Creek”). Earlier this year, Cole released “Lo,” her first new album of original songs in nearly a decade.
Amanda Palmer gained fame as a pioneering singer-songwriter and performance artist with the punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls. In addition to music, her TED talk, The Art of Asking, became a best-selling book.

Additional honorees include: songwriter and vocal producer AIJIA; rock journalist and former VP of Programming at AXS TV, Katie Daryl; Christine Schyvinck, the Chairman, President, and CEO of Shure Inc., one of the world’s leading audio electronics manufacturers.
Additional honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Shantaia will kick the night off with one of her powerful performances. She has opened for Kane Brown and Chris Lane, and her singles “Had a Good Weekend” and “Broke to Brand New” have garnered millions of streams.
Laura B. Whitmore, the founder of the WiMN and co-producer of the She Rocks Awards, said, “The She Rocks Awards has become a beacon for recognizing women who have broken barriers and set new standards in the music industry. This year’s event will shine a spotlight on these incredible role models, with much more to come.”
The 13th annual She Rocks Awards are slated for January 25th in Anaheim and will be co-hosted by Jennifer Batten and Lindsey Stirling. Batten – a phenomenal guitarist who toured with Michael Jackson for 10 years and Jeff Beck for three years – Stirling – an incredible violinist and dancer with more than 13.7 million YouTube subscribers – will guide us through the night, which will feature “live music, speeches, celebrity appearances, and a silent auction, along with dinner for attendees.” The awards are open to the public and tickets are available now.
