NO RAIN NO FLOWERS TOUR
February 5, 2025 by Jimmy Alvarez
It’s been a minute since we last saw The Black Keys tear it up at the Kia Forum, but we won’t have to wait much longer for their next visit. They have announced their 2025 No Rain No Flowers Tour, and this time, they will pay a visit to The Greek Theatre.
The one thing you can always take away from a Black Keys show is you will always get your money’s worth. With booming vocals, piercing guitar riffs, and a drum beat that is poetic in delivery, and an energy you have to see to believe, The Black Keys are one of the “must see” acts of 2025.

This dynamic duo from Akron features Dan Auerbach on guitar and vocals, and Patrick Carney slams the drums. The duo has been killing it since 2001 and have landed with radio and fan favorites, “Lonely Boy,” “Gold on The Ceiling,” “Little Black Submarines,” “Howlin’ For You,” and “Tighten Up.”
In 2024, they hit gold again with the release of their 12th studio album, ironically titled “Ohio Players.” They saw more success with “Beautiful People (Stay High).”
The upcoming tour is set to take place this spring and runs through the summer and is re-scheduled from shows pushed back last year. The duo previously canceled a large and ambitious tour, and has since split from their long-time manager, Irving Azoff.
When the guys had to cancel last year, and subsequently split from Azoff, Carney said, “After the tour was canceled, the consensus was, shit happens, and you just have to move through it.”

Auerbach added, “We were already on a creative streak, and the best thing we could do, rather than sit at home, was just go back in the studio. Get back to work. So, that’s how the record started, writing and recording has always been therapy for us, from the very beginning. We communicate best that way. It has always been the thing that’s brought us together, so I’m not surprised at all that we ended up back there so quickly after the last album.”

While the album release date is still unknown, the band will release a new single, “The Night Before,” tonight at midnight, Eastern time.
Regardless of last year’s drama, fans can’t wait to see them. Locally, you can catch them June 3rd at the Greek Theatre. Presales are happening now with the code NORAIN. General on sale is tomorrow at 10 a.m. (local time).
