NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
Coming to Southern California
February 7, 2025 by Kim Scirotto
This summer, OC Punks and Angelinos have the opportunity to see the gothic punk band The Damned while they are on their North and South American tour.
The band will bring their macabre style of culture and music to play three crazy nights in SoCal.

The notorious punks, The Adverts, will also be joining The Damned on this leg of the tour to take fans on a high-octane journey!
Being a punk rocker today allows one to tap into a rich legacy of inspiration with many groups who paved the way by pushing the boundaries of music and rebellion, and The Damned are among those pioneers. In the mid-’70s and ’80s, The Damned were trailblazing with their blend of fast, chaotic rhythms, sense of anarchy, and theatrical presence.

With hits like the blistering, high-energy “Alone Again, Or,” “New Rose,” the raw “Neat Neat Neat,” and the anthemic “Smash It Up,” the group was able to leave their mark on the punk and goth rock zeitgeist.
Those lucky to be in attendance will hear those rebellious staple songs from the early days, plus hits from the band’s newest albums, “Darkadelic” and “Evil Spirits.”
The band has proven that they have not lost their spark with their newer hits, including the standout track, “The Invisible Man,” the melodic “Street of Dreams,” and the title track “Darkadelic.”

In addition to the incredible show that The Damned are guaranteed to put on, fans are sure to be impressed with the unapologetically fierce energy that The Adverts will bring.
With tracks like “Gary Gilmore’s Eye” and “One Chord Wonders,” this group will complement The Damned very well with their catchy punk melodies that contain biting social commentaries.

Having these two punk heavy hitters play on the tour could not be a better choice. Observatory (North Park) and The Wiltern, both with stunning Art Deco architecture, ornate detailing, and gothic atmosphere and then there is The Observatory (Orange County) with its diverse punk history is a perfect match for these bands.

The Damned lands May 24th at The Observatory (North Park), then they roll up north on May 27th when they play at The Wiltern. Then they will head south to Orange County where mosh pit glory will take over Santa Ana on May 28th.
Fans are in for an incredible experience, so get tickets now while they still last!
