SUMMER CIRCUS 2025
February 20th, 2025 by Kevin Gomez
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages. Step right up to the greatest show in town. Yesterday, Less Than Jake announced their Summer Circus 2025.

The Gainesville, Florida ska-punk band have put together one of the most impressive lineups in recent history.
The tour will kick off in Atlanta on June 7th and goes throughout the country ending in Nashville on August 16th.

The tour will be making stops in Southern California on August 1st at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, and two shows July 29th-30th at the Observatory North Park in San Diego. Less Than Jake will be bringing along Fishbone, Suicide Machines, and on select dates either Bite Me Bambi or Catbite.
Less Than Jake has remained one of the preliminary pioneers of ska-punk music. A genre many believed to just be a phase sees the band still thriving over three decades later.
Seeing a boom and success in the mid-‘90s along bands like Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake continues to sell out shows and festivals all around the world. Currently touring around their November 2024 EP, “Uncharted,” next month the band will play their semi-annual Wake and Bake festival in their Florida hometown.
Suicide Machines out of Detroit are a band just as comfortable playing punk and ska music, as they are hardcore, with an ever-evolving sound. They’ve always been embraced by the skanking ska punk community.
They spent much of 2024 celebrating the 20th anniversary of “A Match & Some Gasoline” by playing the album in its entirety. They are celebrated for their high-energy live shows and this tour will be no different.
Los Angeles’ Fishbone will also be playing the Summer Circus tour. Blending elements of punk, ska, funk, metal, and reggae they bring a vibe that sounds like ska-punk fused with Parliament Funkadelic.
The band was recently announced as being one of the artists playing the Long Beach and Washington, D.C. stops of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour.
What’s great about the Summer Circus 2025 is they are bringing in seasoned veterans with decades of experience, while also bringing along some of the newer bands carrying the torch for ska music.
That’s where we come to the two “newest” bands on the lineup – Bite Me Bambi who will be playing the first half of the tour, while Catbite will be playing the latter half.

Bite Me Bambi has established a loyal fanbase in Orange County, the very heart of ska punk music. Featuring members of Save Ferris, My Superhero, and Suburban Legends, they just wrapped up 2024 by supporting Fishbone on the Red Hot Holiday Tour.
Catbite out of Philadelphia have been making a name for themselves and fans at every show they play. Before Summer Circus kicks off they will have gigs at Punk in the Park Arizona, as well as supporting Yellowcard and Hot Water Music.
To see this circus for yourself, VIP tickets are on sale now, GA tickets go on sale Thursday at noon EST/9 a.m. PT.
