HOT FOR CHRISTMAS U.S. TOUR
Comes to House of Blues Anaheim
July 30th, 2025 by Jimmy Alvarez
It’s hard to believe that on the heels of an amazing weekend at the Vans Warped Tour, we get visions of sugar plums, or something like that.
It’s official Spike and the Gimme Gimmes will return to Orange County on their Hot For Christmas Tour to play in Anaheim with some old friends at the House of Blues on December 5th.

It should come as no surprise that these merry men of punk rock are the best damn cover band in the land.
They do such a masterful job of reviving classic songs and turning them into punk rock must hear music.

Led by the incomparable Spike Slawson, The Gimmes have put out a number of reprised songs that have captured the hearts and souls of fans worldwide.
Ask their fans, and you may get the response that these covers are just as good or even better than the original.
It’s likely we’ll get to hear the punk rock “Me First” version of “Santa Baby” along with a host of other songs punk fans love to love, “I Believe I Can Fly,” “Over the Rainbow,” “Rainbow Connection,” “Dancing Queen,” “Sweet Caroline,” “Rocket Man,” “Coming to America” and a number of other songs that will take you back in time.
Joining The Gimmes for this OC show will be local favorite Manic Hispanic and Greg Antista and the Lonely Streets.
Manic is best known for remade punk classics, “Rudy Cholo,” “I Want To Be a Cholo,” and “The I.N.S. Took My Novia Away.”
Whereas Greg Antista and the Lonely Streets have fans screaming for their favorites, “Black Stars and Cadillacs,” “Rosalita,” and “Tijuana Jail.”
Tickets for the holiday spectacular go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
This will be one high energy insanely cool holiday show, so get your tickets before it sells out.
