BEACHLIFE 2025 Lineup Announced
January 7, 2025 by Kevin Gomez
The laid-back powerhouse known as BeachLife returns to beautiful Redondo Beach this May and the three-day music fest is ready to once again celebrate music and beach culture.
With so many music festivals it can be hard to keep track, and yet BeachLife always stands out as a weekend relaxing on the beach with a star-studded lineup. The 2025 edition, slated for May 2nd – May 4, dropped the lineup on social media Tuesday morning, and this year will be no exception.

Friday will be headlined by Lenny Kravitz, Train, and O.A.R. Kravitz spent most of last year touring behind his 12th studio album, “Blue Electric Light,” while Train and O.A.R. each released their own live albums in 2024.
Also playing on the three larger stages will be singer/rapper Aloe Blacc, British rock band The Struts, and “Rebirth of Slick” hip-hop act Digable Planets.
Playing acoustic sets on the Speakeasy stage will be a pair of punk icons: Milo Auckerman of Descendents, and Jim Lindberg of Pennywise (who also serves as creative director for BeachLife), both natives to the area.

If ever there were a band that perfectly encapsulates the lifestyle and vibe of BeachLife it’s Saturday’s headliners, Sublime.
The trio reunited for a benefit show and Coachella last year, this time with Jakob Nowell, the son of original lead singer Bradley Nowell.

JAKOB NOWELL | SUBLIME
They will be joined by legendary alt rockers The Pretenders, and Cake, a band I’m really excited to see for the first time.

There will be a special performance from Susan Hoff of the Bangles, Sugar Ray, and an acoustic solo performance from Greg Graffin of Bad Religion.

With all the bands that I’ve discussed so far, it’s hard to believe but Sunday might just be the most stacked lineup of the weekend. This year BeachLife is really going out with a bang with a day that concludes with the marvelous Alanis Morissette.
I just saw her at Ohana Fest in October and it was a transcendent show, not to mention her recent set on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” went viral for her stunning performance.
The night will also include indie rock band Mt. Joy from Los Angeles, and the iconic Jackson Browne.
Sunday will also feature an unforgettable performance from The Beach Boys and Marcus King, who has been receiving a lot of critical acclaim. Gracing the Speakeasy stage will be Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller.
This is sure to be another incredible weekend of music. Weekend passes and single-day tickets are on sale now.
